INDvsAUS Australia stunning performance India defeat 2-1

Australia won the three-match series 2-1 with a 21-run victory over India in Wednesday’s third ODI. Australia skipper Steve Smith had won the toss and decided to bat against India in final 3rd ODI. Mitchell Marsh top-scored for the visitors with 47 runs.

Marcus Stoinis and Alex Carey counterattacked with a 58-run stand. Both fell quickly, but the visitors reached 269 runs total to contributions from lower order.

INDvsAUS 3rd Analysis:

India were bowled out for 248, after a middle-order collapse, in the third and final ODI against Australia. Adam Zampa took four wickets as Australia won by 21 runs to win the series 2-1. Kuldeep Yadav and Hardik Pandya bowled Australia out for 269 in the third ODI in Chennai earlier this week. As well as taking the wicket of Marcus Stoinis, Axar also bowled three wickets in quick succession to stop Australia’s advance. Hardik was India’s pick of the bowlers, taking three wickets in quick succession.

INDvsAUS Virat Kohli and KL Rahul Partnership

It was a stunning 69-run partnership between Virat Kohli and KL Rahul that ensured India did not lose a heap of wickets as they did in the previous ODI. Just as Rahul started to break free, he holed out in the deep, ending their partnership.

Three Golden Ducks “SKY

While bowling brilliantly, Ashton Agar failed to pick up a wicket after nine overs. He also scalped Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav for three golden ducks in a row. Adam Zampa’s wickets of Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja.

Mohammad Shami’s twin boundaries gave India hope of a miracle in the 47th over, but Stoinis had the last laugh. Australia won the three-match series 2-1 with a 21-run victory over India.
