India vs South Africa is all set to engage in an exciting cricket tour in December 2023 and January 2024. This tour holds special significance as it will be India’s first major series following the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, hosted in India. Additionally, it marks the beginning of South Africa’s campaign in the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25.

INDvsSA | T20I Series

The action-packed tour begins with a T20I series, starting on December 10, 2023, at Kingsmead, Durban. Following the T20Is, the second and third T20Is will be played at St George’s Park, Gqeberha, and The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg.

INDvsSA | ODI Series

The ODI series commences on December 17, 2023, at The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg, with the second and third ODIs taking place at St George‚Äôs Park, Gqeberha, and Boland Park, Paarl, on December 19 and 21, respectively. The ODIs are part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League 2023-25.

INDvsSA | Test Match Series

The tour concludes with a two-match Test series, known as the Gandhi-Mandela Trophy. The first Test, the traditional Boxing Day Test, begins on December 26, 2023, at SuperSport Park, Centurion, and the second Test, the New Year Test, starts on January 03, 2024, at Newlands, Cape Town. These Tests are part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25.

Beyond cricket, the tour holds symbolic importance as it honors the legacies of Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela, two extraordinary leaders who shaped their respective nations and the world. The BCCI and Cricket South Africa CSA jointly announced the fixtures, emphasizing the significance of the tour.
